Goal of the course Upon successful completion of this course, you receive an internationally recognized and lifelong valid diving certification as a SSI Open Water Diver. With this, you can independently participate in diving activities with a buddy within the scope of the acquired knowledge and skills. Meeting & Preparation At best, you come to our diving centre already 1 or 2 days before the beginning of the course, so we can get to know each other, and we can already take care of the bureaucracy. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. Please bring your SSI Scuba Diving Certificate and logbook, as well as the SSI learning materials with you. You will fill the customer card, liability release and medical statement. Then you get to know your SSI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this course, you complete the theory modules 4 and 5 and then write the final test. For the practical part, we go into the sea for the confined water modules 4 and 5 and the open water dives 3 and 4. One of the open water dives is up to a depth of 18 m (for children only up to 12 m). Guided Dives to Koversada for Certified DiversIf you like adventures, this is the place for you! This dive site offers two steep walls, which show a particularly species-rich flora and fauna. At 16 m a small wreck awaits you where sometimes the bizarre John Dory can be found. Dive Area The Koversada dive site is only 3 minutes drive with our bus from our centre. Underwater you can see sea needles, lobsters, congers, fork beards as well as numerous shoals of fish and antlers sponges. Colourful nudibranchs and a small wreck, as well as giant oarfish, are some of the highlights. The diving depth is 5 to 25 m.
