Even if your last dive was not more than a year ago, it is always a good idea to repeat the theoretical basics and most important exercises in the water with an experienced and certified dive instructor! Goal of the course The goal of this course is to refresh your diving knowledge and skills. The program is simple and fast and prepares you for the next SSI course or diving excursion. Meeting & Preparation We meet at the appointed time at our dive centre in Vrsar. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. Please bring your dive certificate and logbook with you. After you have filled in the customer card, liability release and health statement, we will give you a briefing about the dive centre premises and you get the necessary dive equipment. Then you will meet your SSI professional and start the refresher course. Course content The first part of the course is about the dive theory. Important safety concepts and basics of dive planning are part of it. Then the assembly of the diving equipment is practiced. In the water of our house bay, Porto Sole, we practice the most important diving skills. Guided Wreck Dive from Vrsar for Certified DiversDiscover the diverse underwater world of Croatia in one of the most beautiful holiday resorts on the Adriatic. Our experienced dive guides will show you the best places in the surroundings of Vrsar. In 2 dives, you will get to know two different spots. From a total of more than 25 exciting diving spots, 7 are large shipwrecks at a depth of 30 – 40 m. If your last dive was more than 2 months ago, you should do an easy dive to check yourself before you go to a wreck. In our dive center, you will find everything you need for a successful dive! Dive Area Depending on the weather, currents and daily program, we select the best dive sites to guarantee you an unforgettable experience (Some of these are: Baron Gautsch, Hans Schmidt, Giuseppe Dezza, Maona, Coriolanus, John Gilmore and Varese.). We are also happy to take your wishes into account. The dive sites are very different and can be combined so that you have a varied diving experience. You can dive to two wrecks or combine the wreck with a reef dive, which gives you an optimal experience. All dive sites are characterized by a colourful underwater landscape, which you can observe even better in the stunningly clear water! Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We await you at our dive centre in Vrsar. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. After the first dive, you can relax on the boat and sunbathe while we drive to the reef or second wreck. - Return: After the dive, we go back to the dive base, where you can take a hot shower and relax on our terrace.
