Meeting & Preparation At best you come by our diving center already 1 or 2 days before the beginning of the course, so we can get to know each other and we can already take care of the bureaucracy. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the center or at the camping site parking lot. You will fill in the customer card, liability release and health statement and receive your SSI learning materials, so you can prepare already some theory. Then you get to know your SSI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this complete beginner course, you will learn the necessary diving theory in 5 modules with the help of books, DVDs and presentations by the instructor. This theoretical part ends with a final test. The practical training takes place in the sea - we complete 5 modules in the shallow area of our house bay with dives up to 5m in depth and 4 training dives in open water with dives up to 18m depth (for children only up to 12m). Dive area Dive sites depend on weather conditions and are decided by the dive guides the day before the activity. The island of Krk is the perfect starting point as it leads to numerous dive spots. Popular diving excursions for experienced divers include the wrecks Siebelfähren, Elhawi-Star or the Mafia wreck. Programme We meet at our dive centre at 9:30. If you arrive by car, you will find a paid car park near the centre. Your guide will be waiting for you on site and will give you more detailed information about the planning of the dive. If you don't have your own equipment with you, you can hire all the equipment you need on site for a small extra charge. Afterwards, you will already be on your way to the chosen dive site. If you choose to dive from the beach, you will take a van from the base to your dive spot on the beach. With the boat, you will then navigate between 15 and 25 minutes to the selected dive site. You will be a maximum of 3 divers per guide.
