The early start was great because it wasn't that hot yet. The trip along the coast from Le Lavandou to Cavaliere is beautiful and entertaining. From there, we head out to sea. The explanations on board were incredibly interesting. The explanations were in French, but there was also an English information sheet, and I was asked several times if I had any questions. Without exception, all the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They also had lots of fun with the children. You could feel their enthusiasm. We saw many pilot whales and a sperm whale. After the first sighting, we had breakfast with delicious pain au chocolat and croissants, as well as coffee, tea, water, and juice. The snacks lasted until the return trip, meaning there was enough for everyone. The restrooms were cleaned frequently. There was visual aids on board about species conservation and consistently well-founded explanations. A fantastic experience that is truly worth every cent. Not too much wind, but they managed to get the sails up for a while on the way back in. The food was great, traditional medi cusine, and the captain and the deck hands were fantastic. My son is french and I'm from the UK. They spoke both languages competently. All in all a long, great day. 3 swimming spots, and a real friendly vibe. There was around 25 on the boat, but plenty of room and comfortable seating for everyone. Love how they let you on the netting over the bow. Really enjoyed our day here. Highly recommended. "We had booked the 10 a.m. ferry from La Lavandou and unfortunately completely miscalculated the walking distance. The crew had already raised the ramp, but then looked back and saw us. They immediately waved to us and helped us board. During the outward and return journeys, the captain explained what we could see and told entertaining little stories. I was currently walking with crutches and was somewhat handicapped, but that wasn't a problem at all, as the ladies and gentlemen were very caring and always helped without being asked."
