Rafting on the Haute-Isère in Aime - Combined hydrospeed descentIf you feel like experimenting with different ways of paddling the entire Haute-Isère river then try our whitewater combo. Part of the tour will be done by rafting while you will for the second part, doing hydrospeed, all supervised by a state-certified guide. A total of 23km awaits you, from the Aime rapids to the Centron gorges, at the end of which you can proclaim yourself an expert of the Haute-Isère! Tour programme - Preparation: We welcome you at our base in Aime, on the banks of the Isère river, 15min before the start of the activity. After getting to know each other and discovering our high-quality rafting equipment, we can teach you paddling techniques before driving you to the Bourg St Maurice raft launch site 15min away. - Tour: We will start by rafting on the most challenging part of the river, 16km long. The Aime rapids await you: "the dining room", "the ham cutting machine" or "the dessert", quite a programme! Once we arrive at the base, we will change craft, for hydrospeed. Then you will go on to a quieter section in the heart of the Centron gorges, for 7km. Expect a few thrills though, as hydrospeed is more vigorous activity than rafting! - Return: At the end of our adventure, we will take you back by bus to our base. There, you can take a good shower, rest and even enjoy a meal at the restaurant "Rive Gauche".
