On a large board you will be riding the waves and currents of the Salzach river in a group. You will find ideal conditions on our home stretch. Swimming is allowed and falling in is desired! Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at the Rafting base in Schlaming. On site, you will find plenty of free parking. There you will receive the equipment with helmet, wetsuit, jacket, life jacket and neoprene shoes and you can change in the changing rooms. The entry point is directly at the new raft base in Schlaming. - Tour: Before we go into the water, we will conduct our safety briefing including "dry training." And then we can get started. Passing by the castle of Hohenwerfen, you will experience the impressive backdrop of the Tennen and Hagen mountains. Along the route, there is the opportunity to swim in the white water. "Our first rafting experience in Kaiserwinkl was absolutely fantastic! We went with our three children (16, 12, and 10 years old) and felt very comfortable the entire time. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly and explained everything perfectly.
The tour itself was beautiful and truly immersive, allowing us to fully appreciate the scenery. At some points, we were even allowed to get out of the boat and swim, which was especially fun.
However, those expecting a lot of action and adrenaline might be a little disappointed, as the tour is more relaxed and exciting than extremely wild. But it's perfect for families and nature lovers.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory of our holiday here. 😊"
