Fun Canyoning in Almbachklamm in Salzburger Land
"First canyoning adventure with my 11-year-old daughter. An excited daughter happily jumping into the canyon… and a mum next to her slowly starting to wonder what on earth she signed up for. 😅 But we did it! 💪 And a huge part of that was thanks to our incredibly experienced, calm and sensitive guide, Max, who knew exactly when to encourage us and when to give us time. Thank you so much!"Veronika · August 2026

Canyoning in Fischbach & Almbach - Extracool BundleGo canyoning until the very last minute on our "extra cool" day trip! First we take you to the Fischbachklamm, where you can expect stunning scenery, challenging abseiling passages, refreshing slides and smaller jumps into the crystal clear mountain stream. Later, we move on to the Wiestal for the Almbachtour, where we end our adventurous day with jumps, swimming and tons of fun. To make sure you stay fuelled, we will have lunch together. Tour programme We will meet at the reserved time at our outdoor camp (parking available, approx. €5), where you can get your equipment and change in the separate cabins. Depending on the booked option, you will then drive either with your private car or with us to the gorge, where an introduction will be given by the guide. An 40min ascent takes us to the entry point. We rope down into the gorge, where the first cooling thanks to fun slides is already waiting. With the "cannon barrel" follows one of the highlights of the tour. Over further slides and 8 fantastic abseiling passages we continue along the torrent into the valley. At the end of the tour we drive back to the camp, where you can take a shower and change. The Gasthof Torrenerhof next door is perfect for lunch, but of course you can also take something with you or eat somewhere else. At 2pm we set off for tour number 2 in the Almbachklamm. After a very short ascent we reach the entry point. The course can be adapted to your individual wishes - there are easy variations where difficult places can be avoided or roped down, while the advanced (or brave) among you can also dare higher jumps. Around 6 pm we are back in the camp. Tour facts Fischbach: - Canyon: Fischbachklamm (difficulty level: moderate/difficult) - Description: The tour takes place in the rather short lower part of the gorge, which however contains many abseiling passages. It is the ideal opportunity to combine a stay in Salzburg with a dash of adventure. First, we will take you to the Salzach, where we master rapids, ride on the waves and pass an impressive waterfall. Later we continue with the Almbach tour, where we finish off the day with endless jumps, swimming and fun. "Service is PERFECT! Even on Sunday, around midnight and last minute still reaponse to messages! Accommodating in Changes to our bookings. Our strap for the glasses broke. And we just got one from them to use. The tour was good pretty thrilling and lots of fun. Pretty much the most exciting tour you can still do as a beginner Even though it was actually quite a short distance and didn't even go up all that high it was a full action packed experience. Some of the "obstacles" you could just do multiple times. Nice good equipment including very good shoes."Bernardus · August 2026

"The rafting tour on this section of the Möll River is highly recommended for families! We received a very warm welcome from the super friendly team and were well-equipped with wetsuits and life jackets. Our tour guide was fantastic and led the tour with great enthusiasm and good humor. We all had a blast on the water. The three hours were a wonderful and refreshing break from our camping holiday and definitely one of our most memorable vacation experiences.
