On a large board you will be riding the waves and currents of the Salzach river in a group. You will find ideal conditions on our home stretch. The unique mixture of waves and currents with calmer spots guarantees a lot of variety and fun. With the Supsquatch we do manoeuvres that will make you go swimming involuntarily. Swimming is allowed and falling in is desired! Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at the Rafting base in Schlaming. On site, you will find plenty of free parking. There you will receive the equipment with helmet, wetsuit, jacket, life jacket and neoprene shoes and you can change in the changing rooms. The entry point is directly at the new raft base in Schlaming. - Tour: Before we go into the water, we will conduct our safety briefing including "dry training." And then we can get started. Passing by the castle of Hohenwerfen, you will experience the impressive backdrop of the Tennen and Hagen mountains. Along the route, there is the opportunity to swim in the white water. Additionally, fun games will provide some variety. - Return: You will be taken back to the rafting base from the point of disembarkation. "Wolgang was an awesome guide. Firstly, he caught me not clipping carabineers properly .. once was enough to take clipping seriously but he was able to catch me on other times when the lock didnt fully clip. As a beginner, this route was quite challenging for me but Wolgang made it somewhat easy. When i am stumped on which way to go, he guided the way. He gave me water tooo.. hahaha... he was my father, my mother, my ancestor. ..all jokes aside the klettersteig should be taken seriously. That being said. I had alot of fun. He is very light hearted and easy to smile but quick to correct you for your safety. I plan on becoming more fit so i can have more energy to do more klettersteig. This was a good real intro to the sport."
