Rui Ferreira, the head of the school, and his entire team were outstanding: great organization, small groups to ensure individual attention, all equipment provided, and transport to different surf spots included. You just show up and they take care of everything!
What impressed me the most was not only the quality of the teaching, but also the warm, family-like atmosphere. We felt at home, well taken care of, and every request or curiosity we had was welcomed with a smile. On top of surfing, the school also offers extra activities such as visits to vineyards and tastings in local restaurants, which made the whole experience even more special.
In short, this is not just a surf school in a breathtaking location, but a truly unforgettable experience — made unique by the passion and love of the people who run it.

Germany · May 2024This was the best Part of our vacation! Rui is a very experienced surfer and such an amazing human being. The groups were very small (just 2 people) and we went to less crowded beaches. He had a very positive energy and encouraged us to reach our full potential, even though we were complete beginners, we felt very safe and had a lot of fun, he even changed the beach location accordingly with the different wave conditions and the weather on the second day, so that we could have the best possible experience and learn more. Afterwards he showed us a few hidden gems in town and send us a lot of amazing recommendations. We are already looking forward to our next course with Rui, if you are looking for that special surf-experience in Portugal this is your guy.
