Whether you have just discovered your passion for surfing or have already gained some experience, our private surf lessons on the Praia de Santa Cruz/ Praia da Foz do Sizandro in Ericeira focus on your surfing experience, allowing you to make the best possible progress. The lessons take place with a maximum number of 2 participants and are suitable for every surf level.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet 5 minutes before the agreed time, on the left side of the entrance door of Ericeira Camping Park. If you are travelling by car, there is free parking nearby. At the beginning you will meet your surf instructor and afterwards, you will go to the surf centre together, where you will find changing rooms and lockers for your valuables. Before the lesson begins, we will provide you with all the equipment you need for surfing.
The lesson lasts 2.5 hours, of which you will spend a total of about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes in the water. At the beginning of the lesson, your surf instructor will tell you everything you need to know about surfing technique and safety in the water. And then it's time to give it a try! You are welcome to take a break in between to recharge your energy.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions. Therefore, please plan to allocate some extra time on the day of your surf lesson. Your surf instructor will inform you of the start time the day before the lesson takes place (courses can start from 7 a.m.).
