We went rafting on the Isar River with five people (two adults and three children aged 6, 9, and 10). Everyone had a great time!

It was simply a lot of fun. After a few initial hiccups, we arrived safely with all our kids. The boat was well-instructed and the organization was excellent overall.

It starts with a bit of theory and then we go straight into the water (without a sail at first) to practice standing on the board. Then we go back to the water to practice. While it sounds simple in theory and works great as a dry run, it's not so easy in the water. But if you stick with it (and stay on it), you'll manage. It's a lot of fun, and our children loved it too, and would have liked to go longer. One hour is perfectly adequate for a trial run and is suitable for absolute beginners. The instructor was very nice, motivating, and explained things well.

Very good teacher and location
