A beginner skier was looking for the best private instructor – and found him in Peter Krinninger. Even in the weeks leading up to the course, Peter answered all my organizational questions. On-site, I was also in the very best hands: He even used the drive to the Zugspitze to show me the beautiful mountains, lakes, and towns and provide information. Once we arrived at the top, he guided me through the equipment rental process. Throughout every day of the course, I could count on Peter's help, whether it was carrying equipment when needed, explaining ski etiquette even off-piste, and much more! So, especially for women traveling alone: with Peter, you can feel safe at every stage. He's also extremely professional and, on top of that, fun. As for the course itself: I learned an incredible amount in just two days. It was very important to me to internalize proper technique right from the start. Peter is a perfect fit here, as he focuses on correct technique, step by step. This is the foundation for safety for yourself and other skiers on the slopes. For example: How do I walk uphill a bit with my skis, and when is that necessary? How do I brake quickly in unsafe situations? What leads to a smooth, consistent turn? Etc. On the second day, I initially experienced a dip in performance and was unfocused because my physical and mental strength was failing me. Peter did a fantastic job of building me up mentally, encouraging me, readjusting my boots, and after a break, everything suddenly went perfectly! He doesn't lose patience even when his students are struggling and finds a solution for everything. I arrived at the hotel on the last day of the course feeling very proud and happy, and I hope to get another appointment with Peter in a few weeks to build on the foundation we've established.
