Goal of the course
During the Open Water Diver course, you will learn the basics of scuba diving combined with practice in confined water and open water dives. It's a great opportunity for everyone who wants to take the first steps to the diving world. After completing the course, you will be able to dive up to 18m deep, know equipment and safety rules underwater.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet in Arrabida Natural Park - after the completed booking we will contact you to set the exact meeting point. Usually, we go to either Arrabida Creiro Beach or Sesimbra. Once there, you will meet your instructor, discuss details of the course, receive equipment and we will brief you about safety.
Course content
- Day 1: 2 Theory Lessons + 2 Practice Dives in confined water
- Day 2: 2 Theory Lessons + 2 Open Water Dives
- Day 3: Theory Lesson + 2 Practice Dives in confined water + 1 Open Water Dive
- Day 4: 1 Practice Dive in confined water + 2 Open Water Dives

The lessons with Rafael were great! I learnt a lot with Wind and now I'm curious for more! Also the diving spots were well selected - safe but still with a lot to see.
