Meeting & Preparation
We meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at our base on Matosinhos Beach. At our base you will find changing rooms, showers and safe places to store your personal belongings. At the beginning, you will meet your surf instructor, and we will provide you with all the equipment you need for surfing. We will then make our way to the beach together, which is close to our base.
The course lasts 1,5 hours, of which you will spend around 1 hour in the water. At the beginning of the lesson, your surf instructor will tell you everything you need to know about bodyboarding technique and safety in the water. And then it's time to try it out!
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions. Therefore, please plan to allocate some extra time on the day of your bodyboard lesson. Your surf instructor will inform you of the start time the day before the lesson takes place (courses can start from 10 a.m.).
