This 6 km canoe trip is ideal for families or groups of friends who wish to discover the Ardèche Gorges at their own pace. Tour programme- Preparation:
The meeting point is directly at our base in Vallon Pont d'Arc, 15 minutes before the departure, not far from the starting point of the circuit, where your equipment will be provided (life jacket, waterproof canoe and paddle). Then, a short initiation on the use of your equipment will be given to you.
- Tour:
Once you have left, go at your own pace and open your eyes to enjoy the landscapes that the de Ardèche Gorges offers you. Some rapids, including the famous Charlemagne, will make your descent more action-packed! Finally, you will also pass under the Pont d'Arc. All along the route, you will find beaches where you can stop to swim or picnic!
- Return:
Once you reach the end of the descent, a shuttle (last departure: 6 pm) is waiting to take you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting for you and where you can debrief your day with your family or friends!

Super fun to do. With four kids aged 16, 14, 22, and 7.
We'd booked the 6km for 2.5 hours, but it turned out to be only 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, we were reminded of this and were thankfully allowed to switch to the 12km tour. It took about 2.45 hours! ;)
