This 24 km canoe trip down the Ardèche Gorges will allow you to enjoy this natural wonder for a longer time. Start from the pier of Châmes and let yourself be guided by the river. Accessible to all, the descent includes many rapids as well as beaches, to be able to bathe and picnic in a wild setting. Ideal for people who want to challenge themselves while spending an unforgettable moment with family or friends.
Tour programme- Preparation:
The meeting point is directly at our base in Vallon Pont d'Arc, 15 minutes before the departure, not far from the starting point of the circuit, where your equipment will be provided (life jacket, waterproof canoe and paddle). Then, a short initiation on the use of your equipment will be given to you.
- Tour:
Once on the water, enjoy the magnificent landscapes that the Ardèche offers. You will cross many rapids, which will make your descent more fun and challenging! Take a break on the many beaches and swim or picnic in a unique place.
- Return:
Once you reach the end of the descent, a shuttle (last departure: 5 pm) is waiting to take you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting for you and where you can debrief your day with your family or friends!

The organization, including transfers from the headquarters to the tour starting point and back, was very good. The operators were very friendly. The tour is fantastic, even though there are many canoes and kayaks out on the trail each day. You can always find a spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The tour offers some challenges, but they are manageable, even for beginners and with children (at least 12 years old). It's worth it!
