During your holidays in the Ardèche, let yourself be tempted by a canoe tour down the Chassezac River. Accompanied by one of our qualified instructors, take advantage of their precious advice and go down the Chassezac Gorges. If you have never done canoeing before, or if you have a young child, this activity is for you! Discover the diversity of the local flora and fauna: Paddle through unique landscapes and discover the region as you have never seen it before.
Tour programme
- Preparation:
The meeting point is directly at the boat hut in Les Vans (free parking available), 15 minutes before the booked time, not far from the starting point of the tour. Upon arrival, you will be provided with the necessary equipment for the activity (life jacket, waterproof canoe and paddle). Afterwards, you will be given a short introduction on how to use your equipment.
- Tour:
Accompanied by one of our instructors, make your descent in complete safety. All along the way, you will cross 6 rapids that will make the activity more fun. Take advantage of the quieter moments to watch the green landscape go by.
- Return:
Once you have reached the end of the route, a shuttle bus will take you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting for you. A restaurant awaits you at the end of the route or at our base; you can also order a picnic basket (details will be provided after your booking).
