You are looking for a beautiful panoramic view while learning how to surf or to improve your skills? The coastline of Costa da Caparica offers different surf spots and is perfect for beginners and intermediates. Our group course is designed for children and adults from 8 years who want to experience and enjoy the freedom of surfing. Whether you want to learn the basics of surfing - how to paddle and stand up - or already have some experience and want to improve, our team will support you. Our instructors are all certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and want to pass along the passion of surfing as well as their know-how. The maximum number of participants per group is 5, because we want to ensure that you feel safe and receive a good care. Once you started, we are sure you won't want to get out of the water again.

Meeting & Preparation We meet at our surf school 15 minutes before the start of your course. If you come by car, there is free parking available. You will get your equipment for the day and have the chance to change and put your belongings in a room which will be locked. Afterwards, we will head to the beach and can start with the session.

Start time The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1-3 days in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Course content - Theory session on the beach with a short safety summary - The right warm-up to be ready for the waves - Instruction and practice on the beach on how to paddle and stand up on the board - Practice in the water for about 90 minutes Surfing beginners at our school are typically able to: - After 2 hours: almost every participant is able to stand up after 2 hours Please note that everyone's learning progress is different, as some people learn quicker than others.
