Are you ready to catch the waves at a surfer’s paradise, on Baleal Beach in Ferrel located at the Silver Coast, and take advantage of the high-quality surfing lessons by certified and well-experienced surf instructors? Enjoy your time at the Portuguese beaches and feel the water while riding your surfboard. Even as a beginner, you can benefit from the variety of beaches offered by the region. Ranging from easier spots such as Praiha to famous and more difficult ones, such as Supertubos, there will be something for everybody's happiness.
Every morning the best surf spots will be evaluated due to weather, tide, and students' levels in order to ensure faster progress, safety, and fun. Thereby you will for sure also take advantage of the learning effect in small groups - one of our instructors will never guide more than 5 students. Peniche's proximity to Lisbon makes it the ideal spot for combining great surfing experiences and a trip to Portugal’s capital city.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at the agreed time at our surf base, where we will find the perfect fitting wetsuit and surfboard for you. After that, we use our included shuttle service to get to the best surf spots of the day depending on weather, tide, and student level. You do not need to worry about your stuff since it can be stored in our private shuttle bus.
If you booked your experience for the months between April and October, you will have free time to discover the beautiful areas with its cafés and restaurants in between the surf sessions. Depending on the conditions, we will arrive at our base at around 17:00 – 18:00.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 day in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.
