Details
If you have already mastered the basics of surfing, we invite you to join our intermediate surf lessons at Gamboa Beach in Peniche. In small groups of 4 participants per instructor, you step up your surfing game and start riding bigger waves while using more advanced techniques! With us, you can experience the perfect surfing conditions in Portugal's "Wave Capital" alongside local experts and equipped with high-quality Billabong surfing gear.
Meeting & Preparation
Meeting point is our surf shop at Gamboa Beach (free parking available). Here you are welcomed by your surf instructor, you can change your clothes and store your valuables. Then you will receive the appropriate surf equipment and we head to the beach. Normally we surf at the Praia da Gamboa. If the conditions don't allow it, we offer you a free transfer to a beach with better conditions. In total the surf lessons in Peniche last 2 hours per day, of which we spend an average of 1 to 1.5 hours in the water.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 2 to 3 days in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

So far I have done 10 sessions here and had 3 surf instructors who were all absolutely great, totally dedicated, motivating, friendly and patient. They responded to each student individually, recognized the weak points immediately, gave many helpful practical tips and also explained the theory very clearly. Facilities, location and equipment are also very good. After I have already done a few courses elsewhere, I can say in retrospect that it has brought me a huge step forward - many thanks to the entire team - I am completely satisfied :)

Great surfing conditions at the praia da gamboa, super nice and helpful surfcoaches, who gave good advices, good group sizes (4 people in each group) ...
