Fabio was a brilliant instructor We got straight into & he taught the basics very clearly
It was very easy to book our lesson on line. Frederico arrived on time at the pre-arranged meeting point and we were very quickly on the slopes where he assessed the four of us and set about helping us to improve our skiing. Each of us received individual advice as well as tuition that engaged us all, and the tips were practical and easy to understand and use with the modern equipment we all had.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
You can take the lesson on your own or share it with friends or family, provided all participants have a similar skiing level.
