Boat Trip to Lipari and Vulcano from Milazzo

If you are on holiday in Sicily, you can't miss the Aeolian Islands! These islands of volcanic origin are small jewels, and if you want to visit them but have little time, our boat trip to Lipari and Vulcano departing from Milazzo will allow you to explore the two most popular islands of the archipelago.

We will leave from the port of Milazzo at 9.30 am, heading towards Lipari. During the navigation, we will admire the promontory of Milazzo, with its castle and the largest fortified citadel in Sicily. We will arrive at the port of Lipari Marina Corta around 10.30 am, and you will have 2.5 hours to visit the island independently. A must-see during this stop is definitely the sixteenth-century Castle of Lipari with its archaeological museum, the geophysical observatory in San Benedetto with panoramic views, and the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo.

At 1 pm, we will move to the island of Vulcano, which you can explore for 2.5 hours. You can take a swim at the Baia delle Sabbie Nere, a volcanic sand beach with crystal clear waters. Finally, if you want to admire the unique landscapes of the island, you can walk through nature to the crater of Vulcano and enjoy a spectacular view of the archipelago.

At the end of the visit, we will navigate towards Milazzo circumnavigating the island of Vulcano to admire Grotta del Cavallo and Piscina di Venere from the boat.

Departure and Return
We meet at our office at the port of Milazzo at least 45 minutes before departure. Here, you will pay the landing tax in advance (cash only) and collect your boat tickets. The return is scheduled for 5.30 pm.
