Join us for this exciting boat trip to Murano, Burano, and Venice! Our tour will allow you to discover the most famous places in the lagoon with the help of a tour guide and then you will visit Venice in the afternoon!
We will leave from Punta Sabbioni and make a short stop in Venice, to allow passengers embarking from here to join us on the boat. We will then navigate around the Island of Sant'Elena and, accompanied by the explanations of our guide, reach Murano, the first stop of our itinerary. In 1291, the glassmakers of Venice were ordered to move to Murano to avoid possible fires breaking in the city, creating a specialized district that today is one of the most renowned glass production centres in the world. During our one-hour stop on this island, you can visit a foundry and see a skilled craftsman at work.
Our second stop will be Burano, a colourful fishing village famous for the ancient technique of lace-making. On the boat, our guide will tell you all about the history of Burano, which you can then explore independently during a stop of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Here we advise you to visit the church of San Martino Vescovo, and take a walk among the shops of Piazza Galuppi.
After about an hour of navigation, we return to Venice, where you will have time to wander among its picturesque streets and countless bridges. Don't miss St. Mark's Square with its basilica, the Rialto Bridge, and the Grand Canal. You can decide whether to stay in Venice for 1 hour and 15 minutes or for 2.5 hours, and then our boat will take you back to Punta Sabbioni.
Super good boat and guide. Boat was neat and big. Boarding was well arranged, enough time for Murano and Burano.
