Our kids ski lessons in Roccaraso are ideal for all the kids from 5 to 14 years old who want to start skiing in the kids area of the ski resort Alto Sangro - Roccaraso, but also for those who tried skiing and would like to improve. To allow everyone to receive adequate support and attention, the maximum number of participants per instructor is 10.
During these ski lessons, your children will ski and have fun in a dynamic learning environment with other kids. On the first day, the instructor will assess each participant's abilities to make sure they will be learning with other skiers of the same level. First-timers will start practising in the kids area Aremogna, located close to the slopes and the cable car Pallottieri. Here they will become acquainted with the ski equipment, and they will learn how to use the magic carpet, how to stop when skiing and how to get up after a fall. Beginners who already took a couple of classes will keep improving with the help of the ski instructor, learning how to control their speed and how to master the snow plough on blue slopes.
Meeting time
On the first day, we meet 10 minutes before the starting time at the tapis roulant in front of Hotel Boschetto. Before the first lesson, please come to the ski school office close to the meeting point with your booking confirmation.
If you come by car, there are a lot of free car parks a few steps away. When you drop off your kid, our ski instructors will let you know where to pick them up after the lesson.
Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance at the ski lift ticket office.
Good to know
- Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson. Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson. The use of helmets is mandatory.
- If a minimum number of 3 participants is not reached, a one-hour lesson will be held instead of two, with no change in price.
- Lessons will not be rescheduled or refunded in case of delays or absences for reasons beyond the control of the ski school.
