Boat Trip to Balos Lagoon & Gramvousa Peninsula from Heraklion

Make your day unforgettable thanks to our boat trip to Gramvousa Peninsula and Balos Lagoon, during which a tasty lunch will be offered to you. You can expect more than delicious food, though, as many breathtaking landscapes await you as well as refreshing swimming stops. Before starting the boat trip, we will pick everyone up directly from one of our meeting points in Heraklion and take you to the departure port. There, you will embark and meet our seasoned crew, who will warmly welcome you.

Departing from the port of Kastelli, at the western end of Crete, we will navigate towards Gramvousa Peninsula, our first stop. During this 1.5-hour stop, you will have plenty of free time to go for a hike, swim or sunbathe as well as visit the Venetian Fortress and its hill from where you can take memorable pictures. This panoramic view over all the coast is truly something that you should not miss.

Then, we will head towards Balos Lagoon, our next stop, which we will reach after a 15-minute cruise. This well known lagoon is loved by tourists, especially thanks to its crystal clear waters that are truly unique in the region. Of course, you will be able to swim there or take a stroll along the long golden sand beach expanding through several kilometers. Additionally, a delicious lunch awaits you on board at our restaurant, which is opened between 2pm and 5pm. Finally, at the end of this refreshing stop, we will go back to the port of Kastelli where our air-conditioned bus will be here to drop everyone at their respective starting points.

How to get there
We meet at the meeting point 30 minutes before the starting time. There, our bus will pick-you up to bring you directly to the port from where our trips starts. At the end of the trip, we return to our starting point and bring you back to the same place from where we picked you up.
