2 hours away from the island of Crete, you can find one of the most spectacular sites of Greece, namely: Santorini Island. Take the time to visit all its wonders and incredible landscapes thanks to our full-day boat trip to Santorini Island. Along the way, we will stop on several occasions to follow a guided tour about its history and enjoy its culture. Before departing, we will meet at the port of Heraklion, where our experienced crew will be waiting for you.
Departing from the port of Heraklion, we will navigate for about 2h towards Santorini, our main destination for the day. There, we will hop aboard our buses in order to start the guided tour of the island. By bus, we will first head to Oia, a beautiful coastal town built at the top of the cliffs with a typical Greek vibe. In the middle of its whitewashed houses and charming streets, you will have 1h45 time to spend as you wish. At the same time, you will get a breathtaking panoramic view over the coast and the Aegean Sea. Once done, we will continue with our second stop: Fira.
Known for being the capital of Santorini, Fira has many things to offer thanks to its beauty. Among them, the Museum of Prehistoric Thira is a must. Besides, standing at a 300 meters height, you will get a unique view that you will undoubtedly remember. With its volcano "Caldera" in the background, you will get the chance to explore its narrow streets and blue domes. After this stop, you will get several options for the rest of your trip. On one hand, you can visit by bus the black sand beach of Perissa, a volcanic beach. On the other hand, you can take a cruise to the volcano and hot springs aboard a wooden boat (for a surcharge to pay on site). Or, if you prefer, you can also spend more time in Fira, for example to taste the local cuisine. Finally, we will return to our bus to bring you back to your starting point.
