About the Activity

What to Expect

Welcome to our kids ski lessons in Schmitten - Zell am See between the ages of 4 to 13 years, with a group size of 12 kids per instructor. Nestled in the scenic Austrian Alps, Zell am See-Kaprun offers a perfect setting for young skiers. The resort features a generous 30 km of blue, 28 km of red and 19km black slopes, catering to all skill levels. Equipped with a magic carpet, the area provides a safe and good learning environment for children to enhance their skiing skills.

During these lessons, our friendly, patient, and knowledgeable instructors will assess each child's skill level on the first day. This allows us to tailor the lessons to their needs, focusing on learning the basics like parallel ski and stopping techniques. As they progress, children will further their skills, gaining confidence and mastery over their movements. This approach is essential for building a solid foundation in skiing. Our races, where kids can test their skills, take place every Thursday and are the highlight of the week.

The course is designed to be perfect for kids with experience, ensuring that every participant can enjoy and benefit from the experience. Group sizes are kept small to ensure individual attention and support. As the course progresses, children who improve may move to a higher skill level, keeping them challenged and engaged. Zell am See-Kaprun's unique features make it an ideal location for your child's skiing adventure.

Meeting Time

We meet at the Schüttlift next to the AreitXPress valley station, 30 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

Kids up to 5 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons.

Good to Know

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• On the first day of the lessons, there will be an assessment of the skill level. It is possible to switch between different levels during the lessons

• You can extend your ski lessons on site

• Races take place every Thursday
