What to Expect

These ski lessons for teenagers aged 12 to 15 in Zell am See are designed for those with prior skiing experience, offering an excellent opportunity to refine skills and tackle exciting challenges on the slopes. Set in the breathtaking Schmittenhöhe - Zell am See - Kaprun ski resort, with 77 kilometres of diverse slopes, this course caters to all levels of experienced skiers. From the playful Funslope to the adrenaline-pumping Trass downhill run, the resort provides the perfect setting for both skill-building and adventure. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 12 participants, and are divided ability on the first day to ensure a personalised experience.

Intermediate skiers will develop their carving abilities and practice navigating more challenging red slopes, improving their speed control and mastering turn transitions. They may get to explore the Funslope, Austria's longest fun course, which features interactive elements like giant hands to high-five, speed boosts, and playful sound effects to make learning even more engaging. For advanced skiers, the lessons focus on perfecting technique and tackling steeper, more demanding terrain. Teens in this group may take on the Trass downhill run, a four-kilometre black piste with gradients of up to 70%, perfect for those seeking a true adrenaline rush.

With expert instructors, varied terrain, and exciting features like the Funslope and the Trass, these lessons provide an ideal blend of progression, fun, and adventure. Teens will leave with improved technique, greater confidence, and unforgettable memories of skiing in one of Austria’s most beautiful resorts.

Meeting Time

Please visit the selected ski school office either the day before or on the day of the lesson, latest 45 minutes before the lesson. The offices are located at the bottom stations of the following cable cars: AreitXpress, CityXpress and TrassXpress.

For the actual lesson: Depending on what location you book, we will meet 30 minutes before the start of the lesson at one of our ski school offices at the bottom stations of the cable cars AreitXpress, CityXpress or TrassXpress.

Lunch Care

During the lunch break, the ski instructor will have lunch with the teens in one of the many mountain huts. You can book lunch supervision and meal for €18 on site.

Ski Pass

When you come to one of our ski school offices before the start of your lesson, you will get all the information about what ski pass you will need.

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• If a group has fewer than 4 participants, either groups will be merged or the lesson time will be shortened

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels or change instructor during the course
