What to Expect

These ski lessons for children aged 4 to 11 years in Zell am See are perfect for young skiers with experience, offering the chance to refine technique and build confidence on the slopes. The picturesque Schmittenhöhe - Zell am See - Kaprun ski resort, with its 77 km of slopes, offers a variety of runs suitable for all levels. Whether your child is intermediate, or advanced skier, the lessons are designed to cater to individual needs and encourage progress in a fun and supportive environment. With a maximum group size of 12 children, each participant receives personalised attention from experienced, specially trained ski instructors.

Intermediate skiers will work on developing their parallel skiing technique to increase their speed and control, while moving on more varied terrain. Advanced skiers will focus on perfecting their carving techniques to tackle steeper and more challenging slopes with precision and speed.

The courses are designed to engage and motivate children, with a mix of playful learning methods and modern teaching aids. The Schmittenhöhe mascot, “Schmidolin,” adds extra fun as the children improve their skiing skills. The week concludes with a final race on Thursday where the children can showcase their progress and receive a certificate and a medal to celebrate their achievements. These ski lessons offer a fantastic opportunity for young skiers to progress in a fun and encouraging environment, while exploring the impressive slopes of Zell am See.

Meeting Time

Please visit the selected ski school office either the day before or on the day of the lesson, latest 45 minutes before the lesson. The offices are located at the bottom stations of the following cable cars: AreitXpress, CityXpress and TrassXpress.

For the actual lesson: Depending on what location you book, we will meet 30 minutes before the start of the lesson at one of our ski school offices at the bottom stations of the cable cars AreitXpress, CityXpress or TrassXpress.

Lunch Care

Your children can be cared for by the instructors during lunch from 12 pm to 1 pm (meals and lunch care). You can book it directly on site.

Ski Pass

When you come to one of our ski school offices before the start of your lesson, you will get all the information about what ski pass you will need.

Children under 6 years generally receive a free ski pass.

• Skiing experience is mandatory to participate in this activity

Good to Know

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• If a group has fewer than 4 participants, either groups will be merged or the lesson time will be shortened

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels or change instructor during the course
