SSI Scuba Diver in Lagos for Beginners

Embark on an underwater adventure through the SSI Scuba Diver course, ideal for beginners eager to discover the ocean's wonders. Along the regional coast, you'll encounter a diverse marine environment, from dazzling coral reefs to rugged formations, caverns, and sunken ships. Dive into renowned sites like Propeller's Paradise, Canavial, Martelo, and more. Guided by seasoned certified instructors, the course spans three days minimum, featuring a single three-hour pool session and two sea dives. Experience personalized instruction with small group sizes, limited to a maximum of two participants per instructor. Beforehand, you'll access e-learning materials to grasp diving theory. Subsequently, a pool session will acquaint you with scuba equipment and techniques. Following this, you'll venture into the open sea for immersive exploration of vibrant underwater vistas and marine fauna. Two guided morning open water dives led by an instructor will enhance your confidence and proficiency. Onboard, refreshments like water, tea, biscuits, and fruits will be provided. Upon successful completion of theory and practice, you'll attain the SSI Scuba Diver certification, with the option to advance to the SSI Open Water Diver certification through supplementary training.

Programme - eLearning: Once the booking is completed, we will send you all further instruction to access the SSI e-learning portal. We recommend you complete the necessary modules before the start of the course, but you can also complete them at the same time. It will make the start of the practical training faster and easier if you have familiarized yourself with the theory. - Kick-off: Meet us at the dive center at the port of Lagos at the booked time for your first course intro and pool session. The first day we will do briefings and learn more about the equipment, diving in theory, while already practicing, exercising and developing skills in the pool. We use multiple pools nearby depending on the circumstances. We will either take you to the Marina Club Hotel, Hotel Vila Gale (our other dive center location) or to a heated pool in Winter.

Good to know - After diving, you have to leave a minimum time frame of 24 hours between your flight - People can join the boat trip for the sea dives, but it costs an extra 39€ per person (Snorkeling Price, wetsuit, mask/snorkel and fins included) - Free parking around the harbor and a drop-off zone in front of the dive center
