Embark on an underwater adventure with the Try Scuba Diving programme. Ideal for beginners or uncertified divers, TSD provides an exciting introduction to underwater exploration. Begin with a brief 2-hour pool lesson led by expert instructors, covering essential diving concepts and exercises. Then, accompanied by our instructors, dive into the shallow, sheltered bay near Ponta da Piedade for a safe and thrilling experience. There the clear blue waters will let you discover the fish-rich marine ecosystem, diving alongside corals and rock formations in a depth of 5 to maximum 12 meters.Goal of the course
Completing the course means receiving the SSI recognition card. It's the first step to start your diving journey. During the course, you learn the fundamental scuba diving knowledge and breathing underwater.Meeting & Preparation
Meet us at the dive center at the port of Lagos at the booked time for your introduction to diving and a brief pool session. Learn more about the equipment, diving in theory, while already practicing, exercising and developing skills in the pool. Then you will be ready for your open water dive, which you can schedule individually for a following day. We use multiple pools nearby depending on the circumstances. We will either take you to the Marina Club Hotel, Hotel Vila Gale (our other dive center location) or to a heated pool in Winter.Course content

We loved the experience. It was our first time, and the instructor didn't explain everything perfectly. They guide you the entire time. I was a little nervous, but instructor Federico was there to help me calm down. Highly recommended.

It was really great.
I think the day beforehand to practise in the pool was very useful, especially as it was my first time diving. The equipment was also explained to you there and a lot of patience was practised if you need a moment longer in some places.
The dive itself was great. As I felt like I had to surface in the pool after 5 minutes at the latest, I had a little (a lot of) respect for it. But the supervision was just great and you could sort of hang on to the instructor's arm and let yourself glide. My fellow diver was braver and also dived more independently, so there was something for everyone.
In the end, I was underwater for 35 minutes and survived everything perfectly.
