About the Activity

What to Expect

Start an exciting Jeep tour where you can drive yourself and explore the breathtaking landscapes of Crete in a convoy. We will start with a thorough introduction to our brand-new 4X4 vehicles, making sure even beginners are equipped to handle the terrain safely and with confidence. Your adventure starts with a drive to a local shepherd’s farm in the verdant village of Potamies. Here, you will sample delightful treats and fresh cheese, engage in local activities like goat milking and animal feeding, and immerse yourself in the authentic Cretan way of life.

Continuing our journey, we traverse scenic villages and aromatic gardens filled with orange and olive groves. As we pass by the impressive Aposelemis Dam, Crete’s largest water supply project, we drive alongside an ancient Roman aqueduct. Our next stop is the traditional village of Kastamonitsa, where you can enjoy a refreshing coffee break or take a leisurely stroll through its charming alleys.

We then ascend to the highest panoramic viewpoint of the day, perfect for capturing breathtaking photos at an altitude of 1200 meters. Experience dynamic off-roading as we navigate uphill on dirt roads through ancient Minoan paths, surrounded by impressive mountains, wildlife, and opportunities to collect local herbs. Our route continues through the Lasithi Plateau, bringing us to Krasi, one of Crete’s most representative villages. Here, you can wander through enchanting alleys and admire the island’s oldest plane tree, a UNESCO-designated natural monument over 2000 years old. The adventure culminates in Malia, where we will savor a delicious barbecue meal. Filled with rich experiences and lasting memories, we conclude our self-drive Jeep Safari, returning to your hotel happy and satisfied with the day’s adventure.
