What to Expect

Prepare yourself for an unforgettable canyoning adventure in one of Portugal's most stunning rivers. The tour begins with a brief orientation where you will meet your certified guide and receive all necessary personal equipment, including a helmet, harness, and neoprene suit. As you enter the canyon, you are immediately greeted by the serene clear waters that invite you to dive in and cool off. The surrounding lush vegetation dominated by deciduous trees and the scenic pine forests on the slopes create a picturesque backdrop for your adventure.

The first major challenge you will encounter is a 25-meter rappel down a rocky cliff. As you descend with the help of your guide, the sense of exhilaration is unmatched. Following the rappel, you will navigate through a series of natural pools and slides, each offering a unique thrill as you make your way downstream.

The adventure continues with another 25-meter rappel, this time offering a different perspective of the canyon. Throughout the approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes tour, you will be treated to breathtaking views and the chance to capture the moments with a photo report provided by your guide. To keep your energy levels up, a cereal bar is also included. This canyoning tour, available from May to October, promises a blend of excitement and natural beauty that you will not soon forget.

How to Get There

• Meeting place: at Largo da Igreja

• Meeting time: 15 minutes before departure

• Pick-up service is available at an extra cost from Porto (15€/person) and from Aveiro (20€/person) to be paid on site. Please contact us after booking if you wish to make use of this service.
