What to Expect

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our canyoning tour, ideal for beginners in Arouca. This exciting experience will take you through a decommissioned mining complex, adding a touch of history to your adventure. As you navigate the river, you will encounter beautiful lagoons that provide perfect spots for short breaks and photo opportunities. The route is dotted with several waterfalls, each offering a unique challenge and stunning scenery.

Under the guidance of our certified guide, you will tackle a series of rappels and jumps, making your way down the river. The difficulty level ranges from easy to moderate, making it a great choice for those new to canyoning. Do not worry if you are not comfortable with the high jumps, as there are alternative routes available. The combination of natural slides and rock pools ensures you will have a fun and varied experience throughout the approximately 4-hour tour.

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide all necessary equipment such as a helmet, harness, wetsuit, neoprene socks, and special canyoning boots from Adidas. Additionally, you will receive a photo report of your adventure and a cereal bar to keep your energy levels up.

How to Get There

• Meeting place: at Café Portela in Moldes

• Meeting time: 15 minutes before departure

• Pick-up service is available at an extra cost from Porto (15€/person) and from Aveiro (20€/person) to be paid on site. Please contact us after booking if you wish to make use of this service.
