What to Expect

Embark on an exhilarating canyoning adventure within the stunning confines of Gerês National Park, following the pristine Carcerelha River. You will be provided with all necessary gear including a helmet, harness, wetsuit, neoprene socks, and canyoning boots. As you set off, you will encounter a series of crystalline pools and beautiful waterfalls. The first highlight is a fun water jump, which you can bypass if you prefer. As you progress, you will navigate through the river by abseiling down rock faces and sliding down natural rock formations. The guide will demonstrate and assist with each technique, ensuring you feel confident and secure.

Throughout the tour, you will be surrounded by the natural beauty of the park, with opportunities to take a break and enjoy a cereal bar provided by us. The tour concludes with a refreshing dip in a large pond before heading back. As a memento, you will receive a photo report capturing the highlights of your adventure.
