What to Expect

These private ski lessons for kids aged between 4 and 12 at Snow School Stuhleck in Semmering provide the perfect environment to either learn the basics of skiing from scratch or to further develop existing skills. The lessons take place at the beautiful Stuhleck Resort which features 24 kilometres of slopes, with a variety of beginner to advanced trails, making it an excellent choice for all skill levels. The resort's modern facilities and comprehensive slope options make it a standout choice for families.

During the first part of the lesson, beginners will get familiar with their equipment and learn how to make their first turns on the gentle slopes of the children's area, designed to build confidence and fundamental skills in a safe environment. These basics are crucial as they lay the foundation for more advanced techniques. More advanced skiers will move to steeper slopes, where they will practice and refine their parallel skiing. This is key for mastering control and speed on the slopes.

The Snow School Stuhleck offers a unique learning experience with professionally trained ski instructors and engaging teaching methods. Lessons are typically conducted in small groups with no more than 6 skiers to ensure personalised attention and a supportive learning atmosphere. They are ideal for young beginners and those looking to advance their skills in a structured and fun environment.

Meeting Time

We meet at the ski school office, at the two big flags, 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

If you book the 4 hour option, our instructors will be happy to take care of your kids during the lunch break. The meal itself is not included in the price.

Ski Pass

First-timers and beginners do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass. Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ticket office before the first lesson.
