What to Expect

These ski lessons for kids aged 5 to 12 at Snow School Stuhleck in Semmering are designed specifically for first-time skiers, offering a safe and supportive introduction to skiing. Set in the beautiful Stuhleck Resort, which features 24 kilometres of slopes ranging from gentle beginner trails to more challenging runs, the resort is an excellent choice for families. Its modern facilities and dedicated children’s area provide the ideal setting for young learners to take their first steps on skis.

The course begins with an introduction to the basics, where children will learn how to handle their ski equipment, balance on skis, and practice basic sliding techniques on flat or gently inclined slopes. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the small group of 10 children at most will then progress to learning how to stop safely and make their first turns. These foundational skills help children build confidence and prepare them for navigating slopes independently. Lessons take place in the resort's child-friendly learning zone, which is specially designed for young beginners, with gentle gradients that make practicing fun and stress-free.

With professionally trained instructors, the lessons provide a personalised and engaging experience. The supportive atmosphere ensures each child receives the attention they need to progress at their own pace. These ski lessons are the perfect way for young first-timers to discover the joy of skiing while building a solid foundation for future adventures on the slopes.

Meeting Time

We meet at the ski school office, at the two big flags, 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.
