At our ski school office, right at the foot of the Seebuck slope (Dr. Piletspur 13, 79868 Feldberg)
These kids ski lessons are ideal for young skiers aged 4 to 12 years who already have some skiing experience, offering a fun and supportive way to refine their skills and build confidence. Situated in the stunning Feldberg – Seebuck/Grafenmatt/Fahl ski resort, the largest connected ski area in the Black Forest, the resort boasts 29 km of slopes, catering to a variety of skill levels. With small groups of up to 8 children, each skier receives personalised attention tailored to their level.
The lessons are divided by ability to ensure that each child progresses at their own pace. Beginner skiers with prior experience will practice essential skills such as controlling their speed, navigating gentle turns, and using ski lifts independently, laying a strong foundation for more advanced techniques. Intermediate skiers focus on refining their parallel turns, improving balance, and gaining confidence on steeper slopes. For advanced skiers, the lessons provide an opportunity to master dynamic carving techniques, tackling red slopes, and improving precision and control on challenging runs. Throughout the course, the qualified and experienced instructors use playful exercises and tailored teaching methods to ensure an engaging and effective learning experience.
The highlight of the week is the kids' ski race on Thursday, where participants can showcase their progress and celebrate their achievements.
The lessons not only help children improve their skiing techniques but also emphasise proper behaviour on the slopes, safe use of lifts, and the basics of responsible skiing. With expert instruction and the diverse terrain of Feldberg, these lessons offer a perfect combination of fun, learning, and confidence-building in a beautiful winter setting.

Very friendly ski instructors! I registered for a group course, but there were only two children in the class. We still had a two-hour ski lesson, and afterwards there was even a ski race. This ski school is simply fantastic! ...
My 5-year-old granddaughter took part in the ski course. The ski instructor was very experienced and treated children with care, so I can highly recommend it
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
