What to Expect

Offer your kids aged 6 to 12 a week of fun thanks to our kids ski lessons in Samoëns 1600. Our group lessons are designed to bring kids together with others of the same level, fostering an environment of camaraderie and encouragement. Led by excellent English speaking instructors, the lessons maintain a focus on individual attention with groups of just 4 to 8 students. This allows for genuine technical correction and personalized feedback.

Beginners will learn the basics of skiing, such as how to navigate gentle slopes and understand their equipment, which is essential for building confidence on the snow. As the lessons progress, kids will move on to mastering parallel skiing and tackling slightly steeper slopes. These skills are crucial for improving balance and control, enabling young skiers to gain confidence and refine their technique.

Advanced learners, meanwhile, will focus on perfecting their skills. Throughout the lessons, our instructors ensure that each child is challenged at their own pace, making skiing a fun and rewarding experience. Forget about long lines of skiers trailing behind; our approach emphasizes quality over quantity, ensuring your child receives the best possible instruction in a supportive environment.

Meeting Time

We meet in front of the ZigZag meeting point signs in Samoëns 1600, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All kids need a valid ski pass before the start of the lessons. Kids under the age of 8 get a free ski pass upon presentation of proof of age (ID or passport) at the ticket desk.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 8 participants per group

• Please note that occasionally, a group can have 9 participants and another one 7 participants. If the instructors think a participant should join another group to better match their level or learning progress, they can decide to move a participant from one group to another (leaving one group with 7 participants and another with 9 participants).
