What to Expect

Discover the joy of snowboarding with private lessons for kids aged 8 and above and adults in Samoëns 1600, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the French Alps. Each lesson is fully tailored to your level and goals, so you can progress at your own pace while enjoying the slopes. Samoëns 1600 is nestled in the Grand Massif ski area, offering a variety of terrains ideal for all levels. For beginners, your session begins with an introduction to your snowboard and equipment, followed by gentle slopes where you can focus on balance, control, and your first turns. Beginners will build confidence in the fundamentals, while more experienced riders can refine their technique and explore slightly steeper terrain under the instructor’s guidance. The lesson is designed to ensure that every participant feels comfortable and progresses in a fun and safe environment.

With one-on-one attention, our instructors provide personalized tips and corrections to improve your style, control, and overall performance. By the end of the lesson, you will feel confident on the board, ready to explore more of Samoëns 1600, and inspired to continue progressing in a fun and safe way. Meeting Time

We meet in front of the ZigZag meeting point signs in Samoëns 1600, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 4 participants per group
