What to Expect

This introductory ski course for children aged 3 to 6 is perfect if your child wants to try skiing without committing to a full ski course. The lessons take place in a specially designed children's area in the Grächen ski resort, a charming place known for its family-friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities. Surrounded by picturesque mountains, the resort offers a safe and fun environment where young skiers can feel at ease.

The introductory course includes two hours of play, fun, sport, and action on slopes specially tailored for beginners or children who have rarely been on skis. Children are introduced to the basics of skiing in a playful and child-friendly way, ensuring they feel comfortable and enjoy every moment. They also get to know their equipment under the guidance of experienced ski instructors and the popular mascot Snowli. The small group sizes of maximum 4-6 participants ensure safe learning and individual attention by our instructors.

Meeting Time

We meet at the respective sign at the assembly point at Hannigalp mountain station, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

For people who accompany their children to lessons, the cable cars offer single rides. A ticket for the ski area can be purchased at the tourist office or at the Hannigalpbahn valley station. Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The maximum group size is 6 participants per group

• The minimum amount of participants for this course to take place is 4

• If there are fewer than 4 children per group/level, the ski school reserves the right to organise lessons at half the lesson time of 1 hour (but at the same price) or to combine groups/levels.
