What to Expect

These private ski lessons in Grächen is perfect for children aged between 3.5 and 15 years of all skill levels, offering a unique learning experience full of play, fun, sport, and action! Nestled in the Swiss Alps, the Grächen ski resort is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and stunning Alpine views. With its well-maintained slopes and modern facilities, it provides the ideal setting for young skiers to progress at their own pace.

The lessons can be booked as either a one-on-one session for intensive and personalised attention or in a private small group with a maximum of 4 participants. The group can consist of friends or family members. This exclusive, flexible arrangement ensures maximum personal attention from our friendly and professional ski instructors. Whether your child is a beginner or more advanced, the course is tailored precisely to their needs, age, and abilities.

For beginners, the lessons start gently with the basics. Children will learn to get familiar with their equipment and master their first turns and braking manoeuvres in a secure area. The youngest ones will be accompanied by the mascot Snowli in the children's area, adding an extra dose of joy to their learning. More advanced skiers will refine their technique, tackle steeper slopes, and navigate different terrains throughout the ski area. Throughout the course, safety is the top priority, ensuring that each child progresses in a motivating and safe environment, enjoying an unforgettable mountain experience.

Meeting Time

We meet at the respective sign at the assembly point at Hannigalp mountain station, 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

For people who accompany their children to lessons, the cable cars offer single rides. A ticket for the ski area can be purchased at the tourist office or at the Hannigalpbahn valley station. Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level
