At the main office of the Kahler Asten Ski School (Renauweg 4, 59955 Winterberg-Altastenberg).
At car park P5, In der Renau 11, Lift No. 11 valley station, Skiliftkarussell Winterberg.
These kids' ski lessons in the afternoon are suitable for children and teenagers who already have experience with skiing. If your children have extensive experience with blue slopes, can make curves, have experience with lifts and can stop independently, then these are the ski lessons for your children in the ski areas of Winterberg.
Our experienced ski instructors teach according to the teaching methods of the DSV and DSLV, slowly they start to refresh on the techniques and as soon as we get the hang of it we will explore the ski area according to the group's ability.
Fun is the focus of our kids' ski lessons, and our ski instructors motivate the children to quickly and easily learn the most modern skiing techniques. We are therefore convinced that your children cannot wait to return to the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg after the ski lessons.
This children's ski course is for children from 7 years old with previous experience - experience from one ski course is enough to enrol!
Meeting point Winterberg: We meet 15 minutes before the start of the lesson at car park P5, In der Renau 11, Lift No. 11 valley station.
Meeting point Altastenberg: We meet 20 minutes before the start of the ski lessons at the main office of the Kahler Asten Ski School in Altastenberg (Renauweg 4,59955 Winterberg-Altastenberg).
During these ski courses, there is no break. We kindly ask you to be at the starting point on time to pick up your children.
The booked equipment can be picked up the day before the booked lessons between 3 pm and 5 pm or on the day of the course from 9 am. Beginners can choose at which of the two rental shops (Schloßberg or Winterberg/Altastenberg) they pick up the equipment. Intermediate skiers are kindly asked to pick up their equipment at the rental shop in Altastenberg. Please arrive about 1 hour before the start of the course to try on the material. You can store rented equipment in our depot or keep it under your management.
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
The ski instructor spoke Dutch and was very caring. Our youngest had never taken a big gondola before, and the instructor really looked after the kids. We were a bit unsure at first, since our children (7 and 9) aren’t “advanced skiers.” Last year they only did 2×2 hours of beginner lessons in Willingen and an indoor ski camp in the summer (2 hours/day). But it turned out to be ok for this group. they have to able to stop safely , stand up when they fall and took some lifts before. The girls even learned small jumps and had a great time, even though they’re usually quite hesitant. Highly recommended!
Huge shout out to Simon. Fantastic teacher, kids had a brilliant time with him. He made the lessons fun and a bit challenging, and the kids really got a lot out of it.
Thomas is a top-notch instructor with lots of patience and experience. I definitely recommend this ski school; the boys learned to ski in just a few days and had a fantastic holiday!
