What to Expect
First time on ski’s, beginner or a little anxious? Then our adult ski lessons in the Schlossberg ski area are the right place to start! Our beginner ski lessons take place in the family-friendly Schlossberg ski area (9 km from Winterberg). There you will find the perfect environment with easy slopes to make your first turns on snow.
Our ski instructors teach according to the latest methods of DSV and DSLV. They support you in learning the right skiing technique. In this peaceful environment, you can learn to ski step by step or expand further.
The Schlossberg ski area is a family park with an area of approximately 2000 square meters, 2 children's lands, 4 slopes, 4 drag lifts, a snow cannon, a cosy ski hut and food truck with good food, a sun terrace, a playground, toboggan run (with sufficient natural snow), ski rental and a free parking space, enough to provide the whole family with all comforts and fun in the snow.
These ski lessons for adults are for skiers without any previous experience or for beginners.
Meeting Time
We meet 15 minutes before the course starts, directly at the “Schlossberghütte” (Schlossbergstraße 33, 59964 Medebach).
Lunch Care
The lunch break takes place from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Equipment Rental
The booked equipment can be picked up the day before the booked lessons between 3 pm and 5 pm or on the day of the course from 9 am at either of the two rental shops (Schloßberg or Winterberg/Altastenberg). There is no need to inform the ski school which shop. Please arrive about 1 hour before the start of the course to try on the material. You can store rented equipment in our depot or keep it under your management.
Ski Pass
First timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Netherlands · March 2025We booked ski lessons for our daughters aged 15 and 17, who had both never skied before, for 2 days. On the first day they had 2 x 1.5 hours of basic lessons on the Schlossberg, followed the next day by a 2-hour lesson on the Brembergkopf 2 piste (and Schneewitchen).
After the lessons they were both able to ski independently for a few hours with sufficient self-confidence, great!
There is sufficient Dutch speaking staff and the staff is very friendly.
If we come back next year we will definitely go for follow-up lessons at this ski school.
