What to Expect

If your children have experience with blue slopes, can make curves, have experience with lifts and can stop independently, then these are the ski lessons for your children in the ski areas of Winterberg or Altastenberg. Our private ski lessons for kids are perfect for children who need the full attention of a ski instructor. This gives your children the opportunity to learn at their level.

Our enthusiastic private instructors follow the teaching methods of the DSV and DSLV so that your children learn to ski with great pleasure. A private instructor can fully focus on the skills of your children so that they achieve success quickly.

If the children have no experience at all, we recommend that they take a day of lessons in our group lesson - the first time - so that your kids can work on a basis in a quiet environment where they can fully concentrate and learn step by step the principle of skiing. A day later, if desired, your kids can take advantage of a private lesson in Winterberg or Altastenberg where we can get started right away and a good result can be achieved faster.

Meeting Time

Meeting point Winterberg: We meet 15 minutes before the start of the lesson at car park P5, In der Renau 11, Lift No. 11 valley station.

Meeting Point Altastenberg: We meet 20 minutes before the start of the kids' ski lessons at the main office of the Kahler Asten Ski School in Altastenberg (Renauweg 4,59955 Winterberg-Altastenberg).

Equipment Rental

The booked equipment can be picked up the day before the booked lessons between 3 pm and 5 pm or on the day of the course from 9 am. Beginners can choose at which of the two rental shops (Schloßberg or Winterberg/Altastenberg) they pick up the equipment. Intermediate skiers are kindly asked to pick up their equipment at the rental shop in Altastenberg. Please arrive about 1 hour before the start of the course to try on the material. You can store rented equipment in our depot or keep it under your management.

Ski Pass

Please arrive with ski equipment on and a valid lift ticket to our meeting point. The lift tickets are only available in limited numbers and need to be bought online in advance at www.skiliftkarussell.de
