We booked a private ski instructor for a week (5 days 2 hours a day) for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 15). We really wanted to improve our skills so that we are ready for the real thing in the Alps next year. Ludger was our ski instructor for the week and he was very friendly, patient and technically very good. He definitely took us to the next level with a lot of different exercises. There was a lot of variation in the exercises (difficulty and speed) so that the children continued to enjoy it, not entirely unimportant. Ludger could understand Dutch very well so there was no language bearer for us or the kids. We would definitely recommend Ludger if you want to learn how to ski better in a fun way.

Hello and welcome to the Ski School Kahler Asten. We are a certified DSV ski school and offer ski and snowboard lessons in the Winterberg area. Our beginner's courses take place in the ski area Schlossberg, 10 minutes away from the city center of Winterberg. There we can teach you skiing in a calm and beginner-friendly atmosphere. Right next to the beginner's slope there is a sun terrace which invites you to have a cup of coffee. We cordially invite you to take your first steps on snow in our family-friendly ski area at Schlossberg. With the advanced skiers among you we explore the slopes of Winterberg and Altastenberg.
