Do you want to try something more sporty than rafting? Then enjoy a half-day canoe trip down the Verdon Gorges!
During the paddling phases, you steer and give speed to the canoe. As the rapids alternate with the calmer sections, there are phases during which you have time to admire the beauty of the water and the height of the cliffs.
In the middle of the course, we pass the famous rapids "Barre Saint Jean" where some of you will certainly take a shower (or even a bath)!
Tour programme
We meet at our base in Castellane, where you will be equipped. Then you will receive a briefing by your guide. He gives you instructions on how to handle the paddle, information regarding your safety, and he explains the characteristics of the course. Now that you are ready to challenge the whitewater, we walk 200m before embarking on the canoe. We go through rapids, swim them down, jump off rocks and pass through the high cliffs of the Clue de Chasteuil. After our tour, a minibus transports us back to our base.
