Canyoning in Canyon du Rayaup for Kids

This canyoning course is a real jewel, as anyone can enjoy its wonderful sights just a few minutes outside Castellane and the Verdon river! Perfect for children from 6 to 10 years old with their parents, only two canyoning bases in the region offer this canyon, allowing you to have peace and quiet in a very popular area! You will enjoy a half day among gorges carved by water for millennia, which have dug beautiful pools and natural slides. With its very easy access, the Rayaup canyon is the favourite canyon for families with young children: if your children are already 8 years old or older, choose the Haut Jabron canyon instead, which will be more suitable for their age. Tour programme - Preparation: We welcome you at the booked time to prepare you for this fun adventure. After getting to know each other and gearing up, we will take you by shuttle to the parking lot of the canyon on the other side of the Verdon river, 5min away. - Tour: From then on, we will start our very short 5-minute approach walk, and during 1.5hrs, go down natural slides, make small (optional) jumps in the water, and abseil down rocks. - Arrival: After finishing the Rayaup canyon in complete safety, a 5-minute return walk will bring us to our shuttle.
