You will fill in the customer card, liability release and health statement and receive your SSI learning materials, so you can prepare already some theory. Then you get to know your SSI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this complete beginner course, you will learn the necessary diving theory in 5 modules with the help of books, DVDs and presentations by the instructor. This theoretical part ends with a final test. The practical training takes place in the sea - we complete 5 modules in the shallow area of our house bay with dives up to 5m in depth and 4 training dives in open water with dives up to 18m depth (for children only up to 12m). "A super friendly dive guide who gave me and my two boys (11 and 12) excellent instructions and, above all, exuded a great sense of security. Everything else was perfectly organized.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quite what we had hoped for, but of course, the dive center can't be blamed for that! 😉
In any case, we're currently discussing whether we should book a second dive. We can wholeheartedly recommend Shark Diving Center.

"The three of us did the introductory scuba diving course, and I can only say: Absolutely recommended!
I'd never been scuba diving before and was understandably nervous. But that feeling disappeared after just a few minutes. Katie and Basti did a fantastic job. They're both incredibly relaxed, always have a joke ready, and are very funny. Despite that, I never felt like they were taking anything lightly. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time.
You can also immediately tell that the two of them get along really well. They tease each other, laugh, and joke around, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly relaxed. It felt more like having a cool experience with friends than participating in some dry, theoretical course.
The diving itself was simply amazing. At first, I had to concentrate quite a bit on the technique, but once you're down there and get used to it, it's an incredible feeling. Floating through the clear water, watching the fish, and experiencing the underwater world up close was truly something special. Time flew by far too quickly, and when we resurfaced, I immediately wanted to go back down.
For me, this was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation, and it's even led me to seriously consider getting my scuba diving certification.
