The bay is up to 10m deep and besides scorpion fish, cuttlefish, gurnard and conger eels you have the possibility to see seahorses. We affectionately call it the seahorse house bay, as you often get to see these little sea dwellers. Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet at our dive centre in Vrsar. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. After you have filled in the customer card, liability release and health statement, we will give you a briefing about the course of the dive and show you the premises. You then meet your dive guide and get the equipment. After a very short walk, you already are at the entrance area. - Diving: Your dive guide will guide you to the most beautiful places in the bay. During the dive, you will be able to discover the diverse underwater nature of the Adriatic Sea at depths of 2 m to 10 m. - Return: After the dive, you can take a hot shower and relax on our terrace. I'd never been scuba diving before and was understandably nervous. But that feeling disappeared after just a few minutes. Katie and Basti did a fantastic job. They're both incredibly relaxed, always have a joke ready, and are very funny. Despite that, I never felt like they were taking anything lightly. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. You can also immediately tell that the two of them get along really well. They tease each other, laugh, and joke around, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly relaxed. It felt more like having a cool experience with friends than participating in some dry, theoretical course. The diving itself was simply amazing. At first, I had to concentrate quite a bit on the technique, but once you're down there and get used to it, it's an incredible feeling. Floating through the clear water, watching the fish, and experiencing the underwater world up close was truly something special. Time flew by far too quickly, and when we resurfaced, I immediately wanted to go back down. For me, this was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation, and it's even led me to seriously consider getting my scuba diving certification.
