Meeting & Preparation At best, you come to our diving centre already 1 or 2 days before the beginning of the course, so we can get to know each other, and we can already take care of the bureaucracy. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. Please bring your SSI Scuba Diving Certificate and logbook, as well as the SSI learning materials with you. You will fill the customer card, liability release and medical statement. Then you get to know your SSI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this course, you complete the theory modules 4 and 5 and then write the final test. For the practical part, we go into the sea for the confined water modules 4 and 5 and the open water dives 3 and 4. One of the open water dives is up to a depth of 18 m (for children only up to 12 m). "I booked an introductory diving course online with Gueni, from land, with my partner's three kids (10, 11, and 14). The exciting, clear underwater world and the empathy of Katharina, Josef, and Gueni herself during the briefing and conduction were so great that all three kids absolutely wanted to participate in another introductory dive.
The next step up was the double-dive introductory course from the boat! The one-hour boat ride there and back from the dive site, which was located on an uninhabited island, was quaint and wonderful for everyone.
The encounters with the octopuses Bernhard and Henry, as well as many fish, sea cucumbers, and other creatures were a fantastic experience!
Everyone was completely satisfied, and one of the three kids has already passed his Open Water Diving exams today."
