You will fill in the customer card, liability release and health statement and receive the SSI Open Water Manual, so you can prepare already some theory. Then you get to know your SSI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this course, you will learn in 2 days approx. the first 3/5 of the Open Water course in theory and practice. This includes the first 3 theory modules as well as confined water modules 1 to 3 and open water dives 1 and 2. The confined water lessons take place in the shallow part of our Porto Sole bay. For open water dives 1 and 2 you will dive to the deeper part of our home reef. "A super friendly dive guide who gave me and my two boys (11 and 12) excellent instructions and, above all, exuded a great sense of security. Everything else was perfectly organized.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quite what we had hoped for, but of course, the dive center can't be blamed for that! 😉
In any case, we're currently discussing whether we should book a second dive. We can wholeheartedly recommend Shark Diving Center.
