Together with an instructor, you will dive to a depth of 6 metres and get to know the Adriatic Sea from a new perspective. Your guide will give you a briefing on the equipment and underwater behaviour to ensure your safety throughout the course. This offer is specially designed for beginners who are excited about diving and want to finally try it out for themselves. Dive area Dive sites depend on weather conditions and are decided by the dive guides the day before the activity. The island of Krk is the perfect starting point as it leads to numerous dive spots. Here you can explore bays with colourful flora, a variety of fish species and safe caves. Programme We meet at our diving centre in Krk town at 9:30 am. There is a paid car park right next to the base. Your instructor will be waiting for you at the centre and will provide you with the necessary equipment. In the diving centre, you will be taught the necessary diving basics and receive an introduction into the sport. You will make your dive from the beach, which is only a few metres away from the diving centre. Should the dive site change at short notice due to weather conditions, you will be taken there by van. During the dive, you will reach a maximum depth of 6 meters. At the end of the dive, your guide will take you back to the base where you can have a relaxing shower. Trial Scuba Diving in Krk"The three of us did the introductory scuba diving course, and I can only say: Absolutely recommended! I'd never been scuba diving before and was understandably nervous. But that feeling disappeared after just a few minutes. Katie and Basti did a fantastic job. They're both incredibly relaxed, always have a joke ready, and are very funny. Despite that, I never felt like they were taking anything lightly. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. You can also immediately tell that the two of them get along really well. They tease each other, laugh, and joke around, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly relaxed. It felt more like having a cool experience with friends than participating in some dry, theoretical course. The diving itself was simply amazing. At first, I had to concentrate quite a bit on the technique, but once you're down there and get used to it, it's an incredible feeling. Floating through the clear water, watching the fish, and experiencing the underwater world up close was truly something special. Time flew by far too quickly, and when we resurfaced, I immediately wanted to go back down. For me, this was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation, and it's even led me to seriously consider getting my scuba diving certification.
