SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course in RovinjTo take the OWD Advanced Course, you must have at least 25 dives behind you. So if you've been passionate about diving for a long time now, it's time to take it one step further. At the end of this course, once you have achieved certification, you will be able to dive up to 40 m, the maximum allowed to non-professional divers.Goal of the course The course serves to obtain the international AOWD certificate. During the course you will be able to choose 4 specialties to deepen your interests. Scuba Diving - Guided Boat Dives to Islands close to RovinjDue to the ideal coastal location of Rovinj, there are numerous multifaceted islands close by, which, in addition to breathtaking vegetation and a great variety of species, also hide many underground channels and caves, where you can make one or two extraordinary sightings. The islands can be visited with our certified diving instructors, who prepare you for the dive and are always at your side to be able to react appropriately in any case. This way, you can concentrate on the exciting underwater world the Adriatic has to offer. We are looking forward to an adventurous day with you! Dive Area Depending on the number of participants and the weather conditions on the day of the dive, we decide on the spot which island is best suited for our group. You can choose for example the island San Giovanni or the lighthouse and many more. We dive to a depth of 12 to 30 meters, where beginners, as well as advanced divers, can experience the magic of the sea up close. Look forward to exciting hidden caves, starfish, lobsters and swarms of colorful fish. Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet half an hour before the departure at our base. Parking is available outside the camping site, at 8 minute walking distance from the base. We will welcome you and introduce our team. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed safety briefing and have the opportunity to borrow equipment, which you can purchase on site for an extra charge. Afterwards, we go in the direction of our speedboat. Our boat is 12 meters long, has its own sun protected area and a capacity of up to 15 people. Dive Area Depending on the weather, currents and daily program, we select the best dive sites to guarantee you an unforgettable experience (Some of these are: Baron Gautsch, Hans Schmidt, Giuseppe Dezza, Maona, Coriolanus, John Gilmore and Varese.).
