Guided Dives to Koversada for Certified DiversIf you like adventures, this is the place for you! This dive site offers two steep walls, which show a particularly species-rich flora and fauna. At 16 m a small wreck awaits you where sometimes the bizarre John Dory can be found. Dive Area The Koversada dive site is only 3 minutes drive with our bus from our centre. Underwater you can see sea needles, lobsters, congers, fork beards as well as numerous shoals of fish and antlers sponges. Together with an instructor, you will dive to a depth of 6 metres and get to know the Adriatic Sea from a new perspective. Your guide will give you a briefing on the equipment and underwater behaviour to ensure your safety throughout the course. This offer is specially designed for beginners who are excited about diving and want to finally try it out for themselves. Dive area Dive sites depend on weather conditions and are decided by the dive guides the day before the activity. The island of Krk is the perfect starting point as it leads to numerous dive spots. Here you can explore bays with colourful flora, a variety of fish species and safe caves. Programme We meet at our diving centre in Krk town at 9:30 am. There is a paid car park right next to the base. Your instructor will be waiting for you at the centre and will provide you with the necessary equipment. "The three of us did the introductory scuba diving course, and I can only say: Absolutely recommended! I'd never been scuba diving before and was understandably nervous. But that feeling disappeared after just a few minutes. Katie and Basti did a fantastic job. They're both incredibly relaxed, always have a joke ready, and are very funny. Despite that, I never felt like they were taking anything lightly. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. You can also immediately tell that the two of them get along really well. They tease each other, laugh, and joke around, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly relaxed. It felt more like having a cool experience with friends than participating in some dry, theoretical course. The diving itself was simply amazing. At first, I had to concentrate quite a bit on the technique, but once you're down there and get used to it, it's an incredible feeling. Floating through the clear water, watching the fish, and experiencing the underwater world up close was truly something special. Time flew by far too quickly, and when we resurfaced, I immediately wanted to go back down. For me, this was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation, and it's even led me to seriously consider getting my scuba diving certification. "A super friendly dive guide who gave me and my two boys (11 and 12) excellent instructions and, above all, exuded a great sense of security. Everything else was perfectly organized. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quite what we had hoped for, but of course, the dive center can't be blamed for that! 😉 In any case, we're currently discussing whether we should book a second dive.
