Dive Area Depending on the number of participants and the weather conditions on the day of the dive, we decide on the spot which island is best suited for our group. You can choose for example the island San Giovanni or the lighthouse and many more. We dive to a depth of 12 to 30 meters, where beginners, as well as advanced divers, can experience the magic of the sea up close. Look forward to exciting hidden caves, starfish, lobsters and swarms of colorful fish. Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet half an hour before the departure at our base. Parking is available outside the camping site, at 8 minute walking distance from the base. We will welcome you and introduce our team. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed safety briefing and have the opportunity to borrow equipment, which you can purchase on site for an extra charge. Afterwards, we go in the direction of our speedboat. Our boat is 12 meters long, has its own sun protected area and a capacity of up to 15 people. On the boat, we give you a briefing about the specific dive site and then you will go into the cool water. - Diving: Impressive bays, stone blocks, amazing underwater animals, interesting rock formations, underwater canyons, rock terraces and much more await you. I'd never been scuba diving before and was understandably nervous. But that feeling disappeared after just a few minutes. Katie and Basti did a fantastic job. They're both incredibly relaxed, always have a joke ready, and are very funny. Despite that, I never felt like they were taking anything lightly. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time.
You can also immediately tell that the two of them get along really well. They tease each other, laugh, and joke around, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly relaxed. It felt more like having a cool experience with friends than participating in some dry, theoretical course.
The diving itself was simply amazing. At first, I had to concentrate quite a bit on the technique, but once you're down there and get used to it, it's an incredible feeling. Floating through the clear water, watching the fish, and experiencing the underwater world up close was truly something special. Time flew by far too quickly, and when we resurfaced, I immediately wanted to go back down.
For me, this was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation, and it's even led me to seriously consider getting my scuba diving certification.
