The anchoring spot was also lovely, with crystal-clear water and plenty of fish to see while swimming and snorkeling. The only disappointment was the small beach next to the anchorage, which was unfortunately covered in rubbish and detracted somewhat from an otherwise beautiful setting. "We booked the 10:00 AM excursion, but due to roadworks, we arrived late. The staff was extremely kind and converted our ticket for the 12:30 PM excursion, keeping our lunch, which was excellent by the way. The excursion allows you to see wonderful places and immerse yourself in the history of Spinalonga. The staff also provided us with an Italian-speaking guide to better understand what we were seeing. Highly recommended!"

"We had to wait an hour before it started, but it was worth the wait. The skipper was super nice, and the boat trip to the two bays was exciting. Unfortunately, we didn't see that many fish, but it was still fun. There were four of us (parents and 8-year-old twins)."
