"A boat trip to explore Asinara National Park. We shared this outing with other travelers and enjoyed magnificent scenery and incredibly colorful water. However, we were somewhat disappointed by the proposed route, which only allowed us to discover the southern part of the park. Looking at our GPS track, we noticed that the boat made numerous trips back and forth in this same southern area of the reserve, with several swimming stops, but ultimately the distance covered was minimal."Guénaëlle · August 2026

Day Trip from Stintino to Asinara with Guided Tour
"The entire tour was conducted exclusively in Italian, even though we had booked it in English! The landscape was very barren; you mainly saw donkey droppings, a few donkeys, horses, and goats. We couldn't eat our packed lunch at the lunch stop because it was swarming with wasps. The first swimming stop was okay, but stressful with the wasps. After only 15 minutes, we reached the second stop: unfortunately, we didn't understand that there was also a swimming area there, as only Italian was spoken, so we left our swimsuits on the bus. In Cala Reale, we couldn't do anything for 1.5 hours with a toddler in the heat. The "restaurant"/bar smelled terribly of a toilet/sewer, so we couldn't escape the wasps there either. In short: we went to Asinara and can cross that off our list 😉, but for the price of €250 for three people, we expected much more."Martina · August 2026

"We took the tour from Porto Vecchio to Bonifacio. It was well-organized. The boat is medium-sized and comfortable, with shaded areas. The stop at the Lavezi Islands lasts about 3 hours and is stunning. The crew is helpful and friendly. The guide speaks French, but the audio guide is also available in English and Italian. A very enjoyable day!"
